OPEN MIC RULES:
- All interested acts will purchase a $5.00 ticket for the drawing.
- Total of 15 acts will be chosen by drawing. The first drawing will be at 7:15 p.m. for 10 acts and a second
drawing at 8:00 p.m. for 5 additional acts. This will
be approximately a 2 hour show, with each act drawn
every 8 minutes. Please respect the time limit of 8 minutes
so all 15 acts will get a chance to perform
- From the original drawing acts will be drawn one at a time for order of performance.
The Show
will begin promptly at 7:30
- Each act will be allotted 8 minutes or 2 songs, whichever comes first (including setup/takedown)
- The Stage Master retains the right to make appropriate changes and approval of
each act
to ensure an orderly and enjoyable evening for all. While all
styles and variety of music and acts are welcome
and encouraged, please keep in mind the time constraint of 8
minutes each. The primary focus of this event is for
the singer/songwriter, with possibly light accompaniment, and
reading of original poetry and light comedy.
- All acts must be suitable for family enjoyment.
